Hatha- A well balanced class including strengthening and balancing poses, deep stretches, and relaxation. With a focus on connecting breath and movement, alignment, and body awareness, this class is suitable of all levels.
Vinyasa- Vinyasa means flowing poses. This class will connect the breath with the poses in a more challenging flow designed to bring focus, and energy. Expect a class based on sun salutations.
Flow- A fun and energetic class full of creative postures and sequencing. Using dynamic music and challenging poses this flow will leave you feeling relaxed and empowered. Modifications will be offered to all, making this class fun for everyone.
Gentle- Gentle yoga is exactly that, gentle. A supportive class for someone recovering from injury, seniors, or anyone that just needs to slow down. This class involves stretching and balancing poses in addition to easy strengthening shapes, offering a very grounding experience.
Eclectic Flow- This class starts with flowing movements to warm the body and create focus. This will lead into instruction and experience of a single, more advanced pose. Bring your ideas for a pose you might want to work with. The class will end with an unwind and relaxation to integrate your practice.
Restore & Meditate- Yoga does not have to be physically challenging to be of benefit. Restorative yoga does just that; restores balance to the body with calming and supported restful poses, and deep easy breathing. Restorative yoga gently opens lines of energy in the body and encourages movement of your own healing energy.
Meditation in Motion- Yoga is meditation in motion. In this class we will practice how to surrender to the Life Force or Prana that flows within. In practicing stage 3 Kripalu yoga we get a little closer to our true selves and better at listening to that internal voice. This is a very honest class.
Vin/Yin- The first 1/2 of this moderate class begins with active flowing sequences to warm the body and moves into deep, long held stretches designed to cultivate stillness and healing.
